business trip

It wasn’t my first time to go on a business trip. The first time that I went to a client was in 2008. We went to our client to conduct trainings for our users. It was brief, we spent only about 4-5 hours in the client.

This time around, it was different. It was my first time to go on a business trip and stayed on-site for a week. The first time it was only 3 days, the next was already 5 days. Together with my officemates, we stayed in Osaka to do some testing and revising, as well as some user training. Well, I did the “testing and revising” part.

It was a “nice” experience. But it would have been better if I was actually busy there. Most of the time, I was spacing out, not knowing what I should do. You see, the person who was supposed to give me my tasks was also busy with the trainings and meetings. They did managed to give me something to do, but I finished it ahead of schedule. So I really can’t tell you how glad I was when I heard my boss told me 2 days ago that there’s no need for me to go back there.

And of course, I wouldn’t want to be away from my hubby that long :)
