Dear Friends,
I am writing you this email to ask for your assistance for my mom’s current medical condition.
My mom was diagnosed with acute leukemia and is now undergoing immediate treatment at the Medical Center Muntinlupa (Room 304). Before the diagnosis, she has already been in and out of the hospital for various ailments, getting blood transfusions almost regularly already not knowing that these are just complications of leukemia. Our savings have already been dried up and my sister has to stop to attend to my mom’s needs. Although we are already started to ask assistance from sectors of our family, we also understand their needs why they only give as much. My sister and I already took measures to sell properties in order for us to partly use for medical expenses and the rest to enable the family to survive this crisis. We cannot rely currently on the sell of the properties since it will take time for these properties to be liquidated.
I am seeking any assistance you could give us for the medicines and medical supplies of my mom. Her medicines keep on changing depending on what medication she is reacting to, as of this moment, she is being treated using the following:
1. Granocyte/Granulokine (Filgrastim, 0.3 mg/mL)
2. Nexium 40mg tablets
3. Diflam Solution 278
4. Meronem 1g powder 3 vials/days
5. Diflam capsules
6. Allopurinol 300mg tablet
7. Epoetin 4,000units
8. Intralipid in 5%. 7.5% dextrose
9. Vamin Glucose
10. Tazbactam 4.5mg IV
11. Vancomycin hcl 500mg IV
12. Nystatin 100,000 units/mL oral suspension
13. Tranexamic acid 500mg capsule
14. Metoclopramide 10mg tablet
15. Esomeprazole 40mg tablet
16. Dextrose: D5W (500ml), D5W (250ml)
Aside from the medicines and medical supplies, my mom needs a regular supply of B+ RBC less than a week old (averaging 8 bags regularly), and B+ platelets, less than 3 days old (averaging 14 bags regularly). Our hospital expenses are also increasing due to the attention that my mom needs. We would appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts, if you could extend your kind heart to us through financial and spiritual assistance. We know that our family cannot materially repay all of these you are extending us during this crisis but we are praying that God help us in repaying all these blessings from you by blessing you and your family.
